Porsche Taycan Turbo GT breaks new lap record at Laguna Seca

Porsche's Taycan Turbo GT set a new lap record at Laguna Seca, recording a time of 1:27.87 and surpassing the previous record held by the Tesla Model S Plaid.

This is the fastest and most powerful EV from Porsche. The Taycan Turbo GT can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.3 seconds, and to 200 km/h in 6.6 seconds. Its maximum speed is 290 km/h. With the base 105 kWh battery, the maximum range is 555 km according to the WLTP standart.

Additionally, a free Weissach package is offered, which removes the rear seats, floor lining, and part of the sound insulation. With this package, acceleration to 100 km/h is reduced to 2.2 seconds, to 200 km/h in 6.4 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 305 km/h, while reducing weight by 70 kg.

The Taycan Turbo GT is now available for order, with prices starting at $231,995.
