Next week is Google I/O 2023; here is what to expect
The conference is set to be on May 10.

Google's annual developer conference, Google I/O, is set to return next week, with a focus on new hardware and AI, as well as an early look at Android 14. Among the new hardware to be unveiled is the much-anticipated Pixel Fold, which has been years in the making.
In addition, the Pixel 7a and a new Pixel Tablet have already been officially announced via Twitter, and there are rumors of a possible Google/Nest AirTag competitor, new Pixel Buds, and a Pixel Watch 2.

CEO Sundar Pichai is expected to highlight the company's continued presence in the world of AI, with demonstrations of practical real-world applications. There are also likely to be previews of new features in the company's existing consumer software, such as Bard AI in Gmail and Docs, as well as a new Wear OS.
Android 14 is expected to feature a boost to battery life, new accessibility features, and enhanced privacy and security measures. The new operating system is likely to be released this summer, with a preview of the features to be unveiled at Google I/O.
